Description:
FESP are appointed as the Project Managers for a new multi-modal facility in the UK that is intended to be capable of manufacturing mAbs, mRNA, Plasmid, Viral Gene Therapy (VGT) or viral-derived products. The facility will be designed as a BSL2 containment level facility to support manufacture and filling of drug products.
The facility will support the manufacture of these drug substances and drug products filling bulk packaging capabilities. Final presentation packaging and inspection will be conducted off-site and outside of the current scope of work. The facility will provide multi-platform fed-batch and perfusion manufacturing capability at a range of predetermined scales. Borealis will equip the rooms at 2000L. The facility will allow the install of up to 5000L scale SU Bioreactors.
